The Shifting Blood series is now completed!

Bethany has a hard life. Even among the supernatural, she is a freak. Her father’s side of the family is a rare and slowly dying species of supernaturals that are unknown to most of the rest of the supernatural community. Her mother’s a vampire who thinks her daughter is nothing but a worthless half breed. Then there’s her job as a hunter which drags her butt across the country more than half the time.

As if that’s not bad enough now she has a new boyfriend, compliments of her brother Jason, a kidnapped partner, oh and a mysterious blood mage out to get her and use the secrets of her blood to come into power and complete his plan of world domination.

It’s a crummy job sure, but someone’s gotta deal with it.

Last year Bethany was betrayed by her partner, kidnapped by her partner’s boss, and drugged. Something she is still feeling the after-effects of. She also got into a relationship with Brian, a geeky vampire she just can’t seem to stay away from and owes her life to. After a nice vacation in the tropics, she is feeling ready to continue on with her life. She throws herself into her work, including a job to find out if her undead grandmother is insane and needs to be killed.

It's just her luck that while dealing with all that her dead partner is back and looking for vengeance. You wouldn’t think a ghost could be so much trouble for a hybrid like her but he isn’t a normal ghost, he’s the ghost of a Fae and it takes a special type of exorcism to get rid of them. It’s up to Bethany, Jason, and Brian to find the secrets of an ancient ritual to send Kyle to the ever after. That is if she does not go insane first.

Brian and Jason are in over their heads. Beth is the hunter, the tracker, and the fighter. But right now she is out for the count, lost, wild, and crazed. A true predator.

Jason is possessed by the demon Samigina who is determined to make Jason realize that guilt will not save the day. This instability leaves Brian in charge of finding, capturing, and saving his beloved Beth.

Despite the hassle of the borrowed "team" catching her may be the easy part. It's the saving that is going to prove to be the real problem. He will have to make the ultimate choice for Beth...one that will help her control the lust for blood and return her to sanity. The only problem is that choice may lead to her becoming a demon.

The werewolf council is up to no good…damn dogs. For some reason they think super soldiers are the way to cement their place in the supernatural world but just as many test subjects are going crazy as getting far more powerful than the other paranormals are comfortable with. Battles and possible war...great.

Not to mention Beth and Brian are now the confused parents of a witch girl who is determined to make them her family. On top of all that her gram wants her to be the heir to her home, meaning becoming a full vamp, no shifter blood left.

Oh, and Brisa has summoned the horseman of the apocalypse Conquest...who apparently is an ancient Fae king that's been asleep for millennia. She wants him to make the Fae what they once were but his plan might be slightly different….

The vampire council is out for blood...literally. Beth’s mother and her generation have staged a revolution to overthrow those in power and take over the seethes. The werewolf revolution apparently taught them nothing. And on a personal note, the rat bastard Beth’s mom had her engaged to is back...which can only mean mommy dearest is involved in the plot and wants Beth out of it. Not to mention outing the paranormal community to humans…all while a horseman runs around wanting to bring about the apocalypse…yeah this year will be great.

The world is in an uproar. The werewolves and vamps have taken a lot of blows the last couple of years and let's not even get started on the Fae. The Shifters are all dead, even Jason and I no longer qualify as a whole one between the two of us. There is too much turmoil to hide from humans anymore and ready or not the world is going to change. For humans and paranormals.

Gram’s secret potion is no longer a secret and many werewolves want the human life, for their own safety, even if it means giving up their wild half. The Fae are trying to separate the hills from the human world permanently and the vamps want recognition as human allergic to the sunlight (let’s forget about the whole drinking blood thing I guess).

Turmoil and chaos ensue in this final installment of the shifting blood series.
